Traffic Hoopla has just added TE Profits in the recommended resources section.

Login to your Traffic Hoopla account.

Click on Resources in the main navigation menu.

Enter your TE Profits username in the appropriate field and click the update button to save.

Now as you build your list of leads and gain referrals to Traffic Hoopla, some of them will join TE Profits as your referral via Traffic Hoopla.

Why did Traffic Hoopla add TE Profits as a recommended resource?

The answer should be obvious…

Because TE Profits is very effective at not only generating referrals to Traffic Hoopla, but also at teaching new referrals the value of taking action!

Setting up your affiliate links in referral builders (aka downline builders) is like setting little land mines on the Internet. It can take a little bit of time to get your land mines set, but you only do it once and the one-time effort pays handsomely over time.

With so many ‘downline builders’ advertised in the marketplace, and so many programs with built-in referral builders… deciding where to start can be overwhelming.

Begin with the advertising tools and resources in your TEP Marketing System and Referral Builder. Then focus on the advertising sources in your Traffic Hoopla back office.

I recommend joining ALL the traffic exchanges in the 1st join and 2nd join groups in Traffic Hoopla. As you build referrals in Traffic Hoopla, your traffic will automatically increase when your referrals join the programs in these first two groups.

In the 3rd join group, I personally prefer the credit based ‘list builder’ sites like Instant Profit List and State-of-the-Art-Mailer.

(Be sure to read the TEP Training article titled “Safelist Marketing” prior to joining safelists.)

You will also gain referrals in the programs in the 3rd join group. However, the primary reason to join these email advertising tools is to increase your marketing reach. List building sites are a proven source of leads when coupled with your TE Profits lead capture pages.

Finally, each program in the Traffic Hoopla resource section is worth consideration as they are carefully recommended by the trusted owner of Traffic Hoopla. However, no need to pay for upgrades in EVERY one of those programs.

There is nothing to fix.

The TEP membership site script is designed to ALWAYS show your sponsor’s affiliate link in the referral builder when YOU are logged into your back office.

When your referrals log in, THEY will ALWAYS see YOUR affiliate link.

Look at the affiliate link form field.

The form field is between the text “My Referral Link” and the “Update” button.

If that form is blank, you have not entered an affiliate link yet.

If you have entered your affiliate link, then your link will appear in that form.

Adding your link to that form does not change the referral link next to “Click to Join” as that link will always be your sponsor.

Your referrals will see YOUR affiliate link when they Click to Join.

THREE REFERRAL BUILDERS:

The TE Profits membership site and marketing system has THREE built-in referral builders (aka downline builders).

Our first referral builder contains the essential programs that are included in your Free Traffic Report. You’ll find these under Marketing System on the main menu.

Do NOT leave any of the programs in the Marketing System blank. If you do, you are seriously missing out on referrals and growth in your business.

A very unique aspect of this system is that as you build your list and distribute your branded version of the TEP Traffic Report, many prospects will be joining those programs included in the report even BEFORE they join TE Profits!

In fact, some of your prospects may never join TE Profits as your referral and you will still be generating referrals in those primary programs.

Go now. Log into your TEP back office and head to the Marketing System page to make sure you have joined each of the core programs in TE Profits.

Our second referral builder contains other Traffic Exchanges and List Builders promoted throughout the TE Profits membership site. These programs are found under Referral Builder on the main menu.

You should WANT to join all the targeted advertising resources available just for the increased traffic and leads. In addition, these are converting extremely well with most TEP members signing up for these programs. You will be adding to your viral traffic power and increased profits simply by joining these programs before your TEP referrals join.

Finally, our third referral builder is for upgraded members of TEP only. If you are a Pro or Partner member in TE Profits, you definitely do not want to leave any of the links in the Pro Referral Builder blank.

Upgraded members gain referrals in several very lucrative advertising resources when any of your TEP referrals claim their free advertising credits on the Bonus Advertising page.

Further, if any of your referrals in TEP are not upgraded, THEIR referrals will see YOUR links and become YOUR referral in these excellent programs.

Go to the Bonus Advertising page now and grab your free advertising credits.

Then go to the Pro Referral Builder and enter your affiliate links for these programs for very powerful, leveraged growth.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

You must enter your entire affiliate link (including http://) to update the referral builder!

If you have any problems click on “Contact Support” in your TEP back office to get help when you need it.

Previously, TEP splash pages on the teprofits.com server sent prospects to lead capture pages on the trafficexchangeprofits.net server. You can identify those splash pages by their link (s01, s02, s03… and p01, p02).

On July 6th we began our transition to the new system, which includes updated splash pages (splashpage.php?id=1, 2, 3…)

During the transition phase, you were able to use both splash/capture systems concurrently.

As of today, the old splash pages no longer send your prospects to the old capture pages. Instead, they now direct leads to the updated lead capture pages in our new system.

This is temporary!

Rather than immediately disabling the old splash pages, they are being redirected in order to give you additional time to adjust your advertising campaigns in the traffic exchanges.

Please stop using the old splash pages as soon as possible. At the end of this month, all the old splash page links will be disabled. Any traffic sent to an old splash page link will be lost.

You MUST use the splash page links provided in your new TEP back office. (See Your Splash Pages on the main menu.)

If you were a member of the old TEP membership site and marketing system…

Make the move to the new site now.

Set up the new system and start using the new pages.

Stop using the old pages as quickly as you can.

You can easily purchase an upgraded membership in TE Profits by using a Credit Card, even if you do not have an AlertPay account.

Simply enter your Credit Card information into the check out form (after clicking the AlertPay button) and your payment will be charged to your card. This will also automatically establish a new AlertPay account for you so you can get paid on your earnings with TE Profits.

Our splash pages that were tied to the old system will no longer direct people to the old capture pages. On Tuesday they will be redirected to your new capture pages so that you do not lose any traffic.

This will in effect disable the old system. If you have not joined the new site to replace your old account, time is running out!

If you are not yet an upgraded member of TE Profits, you have until midnight Monday (Eastern Time, US) to review a special pre-launch offer.

All FREE members should log in to your back office and review the Upgrade Account page. Then click the link to ** Launch Special ** before it disappears Tuesday.

What a busy day yesterday was… and it looks like today will busier!

I was up half the night taking care of grandfathered upgrades and other additions to the system. I’m getting too old for that. LOL

It’s now almost noon and I’m still having coffee to wake up. Should have just gone to bed earlier.

Before I jump into the backlog of support, here’s a quick update on our transition.

We are still in pre-launch.

The new system is operational, but this is a brief period where we want existing members to get set up in the new system before an all out wake up call is sent to the entire TE and List Building community.

It’s in your best interest to take things a bit slowly. No rush.

Take your time and set up your system before launching your new campaigns.

Check your referral link.

We found an error in the confirmation email yesterday. Apparently the confirmation email was sending out a referral link even BEFORE the new member had joined. That referral link was in error and has been removed.

If you joined yesterday, please do NOT use the link that was in that confirmation email.

You will find your correct referral link under Advertising & Promo on the main menu.

That link is a direct link to use for your existing partners. When marketing in TEs and List Builders (safelists), you will do better to use your splash and capture page links. Those are found under Your Splash Pages in the main menu.

More Splash Pages are still coming.

I added a few more yesterday under Your Splash Pages. The rest will be added over the next day or two.

Upgraded Membership.

Again, if you were upgraded in the previous TEP membership site you will be upgraded to Pro in the  new. Send me a support ticket with the date of your previous upgrade. Sending a copy of your receipt is appreciated.

You have until the end of July 2010 to claim your upgrade if you are being grandfather in. We simply must have a cut-off date as I cannot honor upgrades and grandfather people who show up this time next year stating they had previously upgraded.

We have a Partner membership option. If you were a free member in the previous system, you can certainly go ahead and grab the top upgrade. If you were a Pro member, we’ll have a special offer soon giving you the option of upgrading to Partner.

To those who have already upgraded to Partner, thank you and congratulations. You made a wise decision for your business.

Logging into the new site.

Several have stated they could not log into the new site. The problem was due to the fact they had not signed up for the new membership.

You MUST create a new account to use the new system.

TEP email series to use with Traffic Wave.

The email series has been updated with the new referral links to your new TEP marketing system.

Read through all the information under Start Here on the main menu. Step 2 walks you through setting up your system and TrafficWave campaign.

You do NOT need to create a new teprofits campaign if you already created one in the previous membership site. You DO need to import the new series using the codes provided in Step 2. Just let the new series over write the old and your email links will be updated automatically.

As always, check your work and your links. Subscribe to your new campaign and read your letters as they arrive.

The earliest days consisted of two or three splash pages, one capture page, and the Traffic Report on a small site I was using to build my list. Many people asked if they could use my lead capture pages and Traffic Report to build their list. I said yes and TE Profits was born.

After a couple of months, we needed a bigger server. So I updated the replicated pages process and moved to a new website. However, without a membership site script all the pages were still created manually. TEP version 2 also did not have a members back office or any downline builder capability.

The growing workload was overwhelming. By early 2009 I simply could not keep up. Our good friend, Dave Gray (creator of the Online Business Alliance), stepped in to help.

In March 2009 our TEP membership site became a reality. (The 3rd home for TEP.)

It was a super sweet deal for me, since I knew nothing about programming or setting up a membership site. Unfortunately, with his health situation, Dave has been unable to provide the support to our TEP users necessary to keep up with our increasing demand.

I believe in looking for the silver lining. So the good news is that I have acquired the skills and tools to host and manage the TEP membership site, which will also relieve Dave of a burden that I probably never should have asked him to carry.

The TE Profits membership site and marketing system is now consolidated on the TEProfits [dot] com server. We are ready for you.

With this move to the new server, all of the splash pages and capture pages have been updated… along with the Traffic Report (to incorporate the changes reflected in the new viral PDF version released two months ago).

I’m excited about this update, and so far all the feedback has been outstanding!

At this time we are in ‘pre-launch’ mode. This is simply a brief period of transition to allow existing members a chance to sign up in orderly fashion via their current sponsor.

The top partners who have been with TEP the longest have already begun the transition. Watch your emails and private messages in the OBC forum for a link from your sponsor to join the new TEP membership site.

When you get the link, please don’t delay. Join as quickly as you can and then send your referral link to your partners.

After joining, you can immediately set up your back office and marketing system. Import the new email series (just let it over write the previous emails) and you’re good to go.

New splash page links are also provided. In one week, the old splash pages will be set to redirect traffic to the new squeeze pages. So if you forget about any of your old links, no problem. You won’t lose the traffic.

Special Note for Existing Pro Members:

If you are already an upgraded Pro member of TE Profits, you will be upgraded to Pro in the new membership site. I ask for your patience and understanding, as I do not have access to the existing member database.

Please send me a support ticket via the new TEP membership site after you join, stating that you were already an upgraded Pro member. Include your OBA username and the date of your upgrade. I will verify your previous upgrade and manually upgrade you to the Pro Membership level in our new site.
